“I wanted this print to highlight the importance of a personal style in art: an ‘own picture language’. To develop this language, an artist has to 1). be her/his own boss 2). redesign reality in her/his own way.  In my case that can  mean cartoonlike simplification/distortion /chopped up shapes, quickly cut flowing lines and a high tonal contrast.”
